Joel Barker, the futurist has created a new video called "LeaderShift" which teaches five lessons for leaders in the 21st Century. This is a great resource for companies and non-profits to use with their leaders.

The five lessons the video teaches are:

1. Focus the majority of your efforts on the future.
2. Understand the nature of fundamental change.
3. Appreciate complex systems and how they work.
4. Examine your leadership style to see how it affects producitivity.
5. Create a shared vision to build brdges to the future.

Barker uses bridge-building as a metaaphor to teach leaders today that they need to build bridges of hope, ideas, and opportunities for the future.
